Ethel M. MacKnight Ethel M. MacKnight, 94, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, and formerly of Riverview and Burnt Church, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 27, 2005. Born in Burnt Church, daughter of the late Millar and Bertha (Murray) Morrison. Ethel was a retired School Teacher with over 25 years service having taught in Burnt Church, Newcastle and New Jersey, NB. She attended St. Paul's United Church, Riverview, and was a member of St. David's United Church, Burnt Church. She was a member of St. David's U.C.W., former church secretary, and former member of Burnt Church Women's Institute. She was a graduate of Fredericton Normal School (1929) and was a member of the NB Retired Teacher's Association. Ethel will be sadly missed by her daughters, Barbara Mills (John), Riverview, and Vera Earle, Prince George, BC; sons, Ronald (Janet), North Alton, NS, and Guy (Sharon), Riverview; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ross, Lancaster, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, J. Douglas MacKnight (1965); brother, Donald; and sister, Claire. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday 7 to 9pm. Forwarded to St. David's United Church, Burnt Church for visitation Tuesday 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at St. David's United Church, Burnt Church, Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2pm, Dean Lawrence officiating. Reception in Burnt Church Hall following the service. Interment, St. David's United Church Cemetery, Burnt Church at a later date.
