Peacefully passed away at Saint-Brigid's Home, Sillery, Quebec City, on Tuesday January 23, 2001 at the age of ninety-one years. Ethel Smith, beloved wife of the late James Norman McCartney. She leaves to mourn her brother Wilbert Smith (Velma) of Hamilton, also sisters-in-law Isabel McCartney, Mrs. David McCartney (Hazel) and brother-in-law Jack Stevens of Kitchener, as well as many nieces and nephews.
