ARRINGTON, ETHEL, 91, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Baptist Hospital East. She was a native of Louisville, the former Ethel Struss, a retired beautician, a member of Quilters Choice Fan Club, Kentucky Cover Lovers Quilt Club, Happy Boosters at Immanuel United Church of Christ, and several other homemakers' clubs over the years, a 22 year volunteer at Baptist East and she donated numerous baby quilts to Hospice and Kosair Children's Hospitals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Arrington. She is survived by her sons, Charles W. Arrington and Robert S. Arrington (Kim); and stepgranddaughter, Ashley Hedges. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville or Immanuel United Church of Christ.
