SMITH, Esther Esther Smith of Edmonton passed away after a brief battle with cancer on September 15, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Esther will be lovingly remembered by her sons Philip, Terry, and Bernie; her daughters Melita and Hope (Bill) White; her sister Josephine Mercereau; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. Esther was predeceased by sons Mark (1969) and Brian (2008). A Memorial Service will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home at 10111 - 114th Street on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unit 9Y, Edmonton General, 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, T5K 0L4.
