Chapel funeral service for Mrs. Esther M. Smith, 84, Collinsville, who died Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, will be at 2 p.m. today. The Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate with burial at Plunkett Cemetery in Collinsville. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Services directing.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Smith; three sisters; and two brothers.Survivors include her daughter, Ellen (Calvin) Crane; grandchildren, Teresa (Ricky) Callaway, Lawayne (Heather) Crane, Regina (Scott) O'Dell; and great-grandson, Dakota S. Crane.Pallbearers will be E.C.
