Miller, Erna MaryMarch 6th, 1933 – July 1st, 2015It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Grandmother and Oma. Mom was born to George and Elizabeth Bley on the family farm near Annaheim, Saskatchewan. She was one of 18 children. At the age of 18, she met the love of her life, Benedict Miller. They married on February 12th 1952 and began their family. They brought nine beautiful children into the world. They were happy together until January 21st, 1972 when Dad was taken from our family. Our Mom was a loving and caring woman with deep faith. She was selfless, graceful and humble, always putting her family first. Mom is survived by her children: Judy (Wayne), Corinne, Brian (Sherry), Donna (Greg), Sharon (Chris), Marlene (Pat), Shannon (Dale), Sandra (Noah), Kathleen (Ray); 25 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Benedict Miller; her grandson, Doug Prediger; grandson-in-law, Shayne Allary; and her son-in-law Dave Giesbrecht; and many other relatives. Mom was our rock and strength and will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all. Although appreciated, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (279 – 3rd Ave North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8). A Vigil of Prayer will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM and the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 6th at 10:30 AM. Both services will be held at St. Philip Neri Parish (1902 Munroe Ave South). A Private Interment will take place.
