Erma Lee Johnson, 76, of Brooks, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was the former Erma Miller and a member of Knob Creek Union Church. Her husband, J.E. John-son, and a brother, Richard E. Miller, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, James G. "Butch" Johnson, Debbie Brown, Rhonda Laswell and Fonda Summers, all of Shepherdsville and Sondra Wilkins of Brooks; a brother, Larry W. Miller of Brooks; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with Rev. Doug Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Knob Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts may go to Hospice of Louisville.
