AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Emma Ruth Henley, 57, loving wife of Douglas Henley entered into rest Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at the University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 2, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. J. R. Hatney officiating. Interment will be in Stanford, Conn. Mrs. Henley was a native of Augusta; a retired employee from the State of Connecticut. She was a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Douglas Henley, Augusta; one son, Douglas (Yvette) Henley Jr., Middleton, Conn.; two daughters, Theresa (Tilford) Cobb, Shelton, Conn.; Wendy Broouchett-Richardson, Calif.; stepmother, Georgia Christie, Far Rockaway, N.Y.; two brothers, Mark (Yolunda) Christie, Far Rockaway, N.Y., Myles (Tesra) Christie Jr., Augusta; five grandchildren; four uncles, three aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
