MORRISON, Emma September 20, 1918 - May 9, 2011 Emma Morrison was granted her angel wings on Monday, May 9, 2011. At the age of 92, our loving mother passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Romania, Emma happily lived most of her life in Edmonton, with the last 11 years spent in Calgary, close to family she adored. She was passionate about gardening and was a devoted, loving, kindhearted, soul mate to John, her husband of 55 years. Emma loved unconditionally, and was always available to lend an ear and give a comforting word. Emma was welcomed into heaven by John, in addition to her baby girl Agnes and numerous siblings. Grandma is looking down on us as she sings with the angels. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her sister Ella (Don), children Lorrie (Wayne), Eldon (Marcia), cherished grandchildren Charity (Dennis), Sharaya and Connor; and precious great-grandchildren Desi, Sapphire and Jade. Our family is forever changed. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the staff at Palliative Home Care, CBI, WeCare and ComCare for their kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time.
