CARTER Emma May (nee McLean), 92, formerly of Little Falls, passed away on Sept. 7, 2008. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 11 AM at the First Reformed Church, 61 Main Street, Little Falls. Friends may call from 10- 11 AM on Dec. 6 at the church. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mrs. Carter lived in Hobe Sound, FL before moving to Burlington Twp., NJ in 1997. During her marriage she also resided in Paterson and Jersey City, NJ and Sibley, IA. She was Mortgage Operations Administrator with the First Fidelity Bank of NJ before retiring in 1979. She was also a member of Eastern Star, Chapter #224, Little Falls. Mrs. Carter is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Canfield and son-in-law, James of West Milford, NJ; her son, Charles G. Carter, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Betty Ann, of Riverdale, NJ; grandson, Charles J. Carter and his wife, Areti of Orland Park, IL; granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Carter and partner, Erin Kaste of Memphis, TN; great grandson Alexander G. Carter and great- granddaughter, Jordan G. Carter of Memphis, TN; and sister, Frances Dorman of Stuart, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; her parents, Minnie and Arthur McLean; one brother and five sisters.
