She was preceded in death by her husband, Ovoy Yancey Horton, Sr., and Earl Calvin Horton. Survivors include: four daughters, Geraldine H. Taylor, Huntsville, AL, Aillean Abercrombie, Fairfax, VA, Annie Marie Horton and Sharon Horton Steele, Huntsville, two sons, Earnest James Horton and Ovoy Yancey Horton, Jr., Huntsville, AL; and seventeen grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 22nd, at the Center Grove U.M. Church with Pastor Donald F. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mrs. Horton will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
