SMITH, Emily (Paddy) (nee Triggs) 1924 - 2011 After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Mother peacefully left us on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence to be with our Dad. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathleen, son Derek (Barbara-Ann) and granddaughter Kimberley. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, DDO, 514-685-3344 on Thursday, March 10 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Veronica's Parish, 1300 Carson Ave, Dorval, on Friday, March 11 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception at 12:30 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence or NOVA West Island would be greatly appreciated.
