Fitchburg, retired U.S. Postal Worker; 90 FITCHBURG -- Emile A. Fluet, 90, of Fitchburg, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Health Alliance - Leominster Hospital.His wife of 60 years, Loretta G. (Lortie) Fluet, died in May 2008.Mr. Fluet was born in Fitchburg, May 2, 1920 the youngest of thirteen children born to Edouard and Leontine (Fluet)Fluet and was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg.Mr. Fluet was a WWII US Army veteran with the 350th Ordinance Depot Company and served active duty in France and Germany.He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas E. and Marcia Fluet of Pepperell, Dr. James E. and Sharon Fluet of Leominster, a daughter and son-in-law, Constance R. and Joseph Biedrzycki of Bedford, New Hampshire. In addition, he leaves six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Dr. Matthew and Dr. Kimberly Fluet and their daughter Chloe of Rochester New York, Anthony and Erica Fluet of Atlanta Georgia, Joel Biedrycki of Boca Raton Florida, Aaron Biedrzycki of Boston, Stephen Biedrzycki of Bedford New Hampshire; and Emma Biedrzycki, currently studying in Fulton Missouri.He was the brother of the late Edward Fluet, Ernest Fluet, Eugene Fluet, Alcide Fluet, Albert Fluet, Hector Fluet, Homer Fluet, Antoinette LeBlanc, Marie Jeanne Morin and Leontine Croteau.For nearly 30 years, Mr. Fluet worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1974.He was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg and prayed the Rosary daily. He was a 1937 graduate of St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg and, in his high school years was a member of the St. Joseph School Drum and Bugle Corps.FLUET -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Saturday, October 16th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours are 4-7 P.M. Friday at the Louis M.
