JOHNSON, Elspeth AnnJune 25, 1939 – December 10, 2015It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elspeth Johnson (nee Burns) at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 76 years. Elspeth was born and raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Elspeth lived in Saskatoon for many years and worked at the Zellers in County Fair and later in the cash office at Eatons. In 2000 Elspeth moved to Calgary to be closer to her son Kurt and his family. Elspeth was predeceased by her parents, Angus and Helen Burns, and an infant brother Gregory. She is survived by her four sons and their families, Todd and Keiko (Cody, Riel) of Saskatoon; Kurt and Lynnette (Amy, Christopher, Charlotte, Matthew, Grace) of Calgary; Ward and Peggy (Megan, Jack) of Saskatoon; and Myles and Hiromi (Eito) of Tokyo, Japan. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Foothills Hospital for their compassion and care of Elspeth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.com). There will be no funeral service at Elspeth''s request.
