Elsie Luella Abbott Ashcraft Wright 1931-2008 Brattleboro - Elsie Luella Abbott Ashcraft Wright, 76, died Monday Feb. 25, 2008, at Eden Park Nursing Home. She was born June 11, 1931, daughter of Reuben and Alice Goodell Abbott in Windham, Vt. She worked for Dunhams and later worked for and retired from the Holstein Association. In 1981 She was married to Robert Wright. She leaves her husband Robert of Brattleboro, three sons, Alan Tim Ashcraft, Darryl Dean Ashcraft, David John Wright, a daughter Teresa Jo Ashcraft Tefft, three sisters, Eleanor Abbot Anderson, Larraine Abbot Burkert, Annabelle Abbot Shine, and a brother Reuben Abbott. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be private. There are to be no calling hours at this time.She came to us as a gift. She stayed for as long as she could, and then she went home.
