->STONINGTON - Elsie Elizabeth Eaton went home to be with the Lord Jan. 23, 2014, at Penobscot Nursing Home. She was born June 2, 1928, in Sedgwick, to Rufus and Thelma (Wescott) Closson.She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Stonington, and she loved children, knitting, raking blueberries, digging clams, and dancing.Elsie is survived by three sons, Edward Holden and wife, Sharon, Cecil Holden and wife, Jennifer, and Wayne Holden and girlfriend, Peggy Theriault; a special grandson, Scott Holden and wife, Kathy; four granddaughters, Katie, Jodie, Jada, and Jessica; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Donald Holden of Brooklin; and husband, Stanley Eaton of Stonington.At her request, no services will be held.
