JOHNSON Elsie C. Norell Johnson, age 94, died peacefully with her Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at 3030 Park Heatlhcare Center, Fairfield. Mrs. Johnson was the wife of the late Albert Johnson, and was born in Bridgeport and was a resident of Black Rock, and Stern Village, Trumbull. She was a charter member of St. Mark‚s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bridgeport, and also a Sunday School teacher, choir member and president of the Martha Sewing Circle. She was a retired employee of Aetna Insurance Co. and the Charles Edward Insurance Agency of Bridgeport. She is survived by her beloved daughter and her husband, Lynne and Russell Jurgens, of Trumbull; her three devoted grandchildren and their spouses, Dennis and Virginia Jurgens of Seymour, Donna and Bill Kintop, of Trumbull, and Doreen Jurgens of Trumbull; and four wonderful great-grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Jurgens and Aubrey and Taylor Kintop. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark‚s Lutheran Church Black Rock. Burial will be in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark‚s Lutheran Church, 10 Jetland Street Bridgeport. The family wishes to thank all the loving and caring nurses and aides at the East Center 3030 Park for their loving care the last 2 years of mom‚s life.
