ANDERSON _ Elmer ("Red") Perry - October 11, 1925 - March 25, 2006. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather. Red was in his 81st year and was predeceased by Emma, his loving wife of 53 years in 2004 and by his sisters Beulah and Dolly. Red was a veteran of WWII. He and Emma married in June 1951 and together raised three children. Survived by son Gary (Carol) and twin daughters Denise and Diane; grandchildren Janene, Colin, Correne, Cheryl and Brad and other relatives and friends. Red and Emma found a new life and many new friends while spending their winters in Yuma, Arizona. Prior to retirement from the trucking industry Dad was an avid boater and enjoyed their home and waters at Pender Harbour. Red lived a full and active life enjoying every possible avenue. You could always find him working in his yard on a truck or trailer. A celebration of Red's life will be held Friday, March 31 at 2:00pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. A reception will follow. Thank you to all the staff at RCH, 6 North, CCU and lCU for the compassionate kindness and care given. A very special thank you to Dr. Walter Paton of White Rock, a great doctor and close family friend. Dad, you are with Mom again. Your family and friends will cherish and love you forever. You will be dearly missed. HENDERSON'S FUNERAL HOME - 604-530-6488 www.hendersonslangleyfunerals.com
