Ellender Yvonne Guy CHESNEE, SC-- Ellender Yvonne White Guy, 72, died Monday, September 10, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Frances Gregory White. She was the last surviving member of the White family. Mrs. Guy was a member for 62 years of Clifton Church of God and retired from Powell Knitting Mill. She is survived by a daughter, Wanda G. Miller of Spartanburg; sons, Rev. Bruce Guy, Jr. and wife and caregiver, Dawn of Chesnee, Larry Guy and wife, Julie of Inman, and Marvin Guy and wife, Anita of Roebuck; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie W. Blackwell. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Powell, Rev. Gary Mauney, and Rev. Edward Hardee. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Union, SC. Memorials may be made to Roebuck Church of God, 940 McAbee Rd., Roebuck, SC 29376.
