MITCHELL Mrs. Ellen (Cullen) Mitchell, age 65, wife of Thomas F. Mitchell, of Sabrina Drive, Bethany, died Friday, May 6, 2005, at Connecticut Hospice, in Branford, after a brief illness. Mrs. Mitchell was born May 9, 1939 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ellen (Moylan) Cullen. She retired after more than 18 years from the Inventory Control Department of Avco-Lycoming. She owned and operated a dance Studio with her sister "Creative Dance" in Trumbull. She was a former Girl Scout leader for many years and was a horticulturist. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas C. Mitchell of Chaplin, and Robert J. Mitchell of Bethany; one sister, Maureen Cullen of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 8:45 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
