Ellen (Harris) Millerof EndwellEllen (Harris) Miller, 83, was called home on Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Iona Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Katherene Harris; sisters, Florence Doolittle and Ida Paglia; brothers, Lawrence Harris and Chester Harris; brothers-in-law, Richard Baker, Jerry Crampton and Alvin Miller. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Frank Miller, Endwell; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Mark Coleman, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; daughter, Cindy Miller and her partner, James Moriarty, Easthampton, Mass.; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Janice Miller, and Jeff and Cheryl Miller, all of Endwell; six grandchildren, Curt Miller and Kelly SanFilippo, Christie Miller, Julianne Coleman, Derek, Nicholas and Justin Miller; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Alys Crampton, Endwell, Wilma Baker, Maine, N.Y., Joan Harris, Endwell, Myrna and Stan Sprague, Endicott, Myra and Gene Thomas, Candor, NY.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Rosemary Harris, Endwell, Jerry and Sue Harris, Maine, N.Y.; sisters-in-law, Helen Jane Harris and Sandy Harris, both of Endicott, Phyllis Miller, Binghamton and Nancy Checchia, Sarasota, Fla.; brother-in-law, Lewis Paglia; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a special niece, Jacinta Shaffer. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church and its Rebekah Circle. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was an avid doll collector and was passionate about garage sales and flea markets. She was generous, passionate and very devoted to her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Frank to Florida, across the United States and Canada, with the highlight being their trip to Europe in 1990. She loved to look at her family photos, and she loved all things French.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Blvd., Endwell. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E.
