VANDER WALL - Ellen G. (nee Sheffel), age 48, died peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2003 at the Bergen Regional Medical Center. Ellen was a lifelong resident of Wyckoff. She attended the Wyckoff Public Schools, and graduated from Ramapo High School class of 1972. She was a Homemaker and Data Processor, most recently for Datapharm, LLC in Oakland. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church in Wyckoff, and because of her love for children she worked where needed as a School Crossing Guard for the Wyckoff Police Dept. Surviving is her husband Nicholas Vander Wall, Jr., her son Michael Vander Wall of Wyckoff, her parents, Joseph and Joanne (nee Hoffman) Sheffel of Wyckoff, and her six sisters, Dr.Charlotte Farin of Raleigh, NC, Theresa Rapp of Sarasota, FL, Joanne Tidwell of Grand Bay, AL, Patricia Cundari of Ramsey, Linda Sheffel of Midland Park, and Deborah Kicinski of West Milford. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Avenue Wyckoff. Interment will follow in the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
