SELKIRK Ellen E. Miller, 88, a former resident of Selkirk, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2003 after a brief illness at Eden Park Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Albany, N.Y. She was born May 28, 1914 in Selkirk, N.Y. and was retired from medical research at Sterling Winthrop Research Institute in Rensselaer, N.Y. after 50 years of service. Mrs. Miller was also the co-proprietor of the Miller Farm in Selkirk for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Miller of Selkirk and her son, Bruce C. Miller of Albany. Mrs Miller is survived by her grandson, Bruce C. Miller II of Columbus, Ohio and her daughter-in-law, Constance I. Miller of Albany. Mrs. Miller has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program of Albany Medical College; and as such, a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, N. Y., 12204. The Miller family wishes to extend its deep appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Gary Bernardini, chair of the Department of Neurology at Albany Medical Center Hospital, and Dr. Randy Hsu and the entire staff of the rehabilitation service at Eden Park Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
