Ella Nora Lofton Curry Ella Nora Lofton Curry, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST today at Fountain Chapel AME Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. The funeral cortege will assemble at 10:30 a.m. EST at 1214 Cleveland St. Pastor Annette Colston will officiate. Richardson’s Family Funeral Care Inc. (878-4144), 101 E. Fourth Ave., is handling arrangements She was a member of Fountain Chapel AME Church and was a former member of the choir, the Stewardess Board and the Missionary Society.She was a former employee of Elberta Crate Factory and Gretchen Everhardt School. She is survived by her children, Rilla Mae Curry, John D. Curry and Annita Louise C. Walker, all of Tallahassee, Willie C. Curry of Jacksonville, Elizabeth C. Gainous and Willie Gainous Jr., both of Augusta, Ga.; 34 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
