Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Annie Mae Workman Golden. Member: New Hope A.M.E. Methodist Church in Mountsville. Associate member: Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors: Cousin, Glenda Carter Floyd with whom she made her home.
