Ella Mae Cox Black - POOLER - Ella Mae Cox Black, 69, of Pooler, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her residence, under the care of Odyssey Hospice, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, and a former member of Dean Forest Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Berry Black, of Pooler, Ga; a son, Rev. Bill Black (Sarah) of Lyons, Ga; 3 daughters, Mary Katherine Iler (Darrell) of Callahan, Fla; Laura Ann Taylor of Savannah, Ga; and Amanda Faye Mincey (Christopher) of Pooler, Ga; 2 brothers, Richard and Charles Cox of Pennsylvania, and a sister, Katherine Taggert of Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation: 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel, with her son, Rev.
