Feb. 10, 1929 – Aug. 17, 2008 Elizabeth Wilson, 79, of Dawsonville died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. Born in Forsyth County, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker, a licensed manicurist and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Irene Garrett; sister, Wilma Turner; and brother, Gerald Garrett. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Bryson Wilson, Dawsonville; son, Clyde and Ann Wilson, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Pat and Missi Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Gavin Wilson, and Hayden Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kali Milford, Darby Wilson and Logan Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Liberty Baptist Church. The Rev. Ruel Martin, the Rev. Stephen Davis, and the Rev. Cecil Reeves will officiate.
