Elizabeth "Betty" Williams, 86, died April 12, 2007, at her home. She was born in Detroit, and lived in Florida for 31 years, coming from Mount Clemens, Mich. Before retirement, she owned a day-care center. She attended the White City United Methodist Church in Fort Pierce, and was a member of the Day Lilies at the Church. She also was a member of The Women's Club of Palm Grove. Survivors include two sons, Ronald J. Williams, of Rochester, Mich., and Alan Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Marie Hendricks of Columbus, Ohio, Connie Colella of Port St Lucie, and Kathleen Salerno, of Stuart; one sister, Hazel Voss, of Fort Pierce; one brother, George Saliba of New Windham, Maine; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S.W. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. May 5 at White City United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce. Inurnment will be in Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
