Elizabeth Wiggins Jackson COLUMBUS, NC-- Elizabeth Wiggins Jackson, 87, past on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Laurel Woods Living Assisted in Columbus, NC. She was the daughter of the late Clarence C. Wiggins and Dulcenia Williams Wiggins. She was married to the late Booker T. Jackson. She leaves to cherish fond memories: five sons, Donald (Janice) Jackson of Ohio, Stinson (Hattie) Jackson of Columbus, NC, Marion Jackson of Ohio, Michael Jackson of Landrum, SC, and Thurston (Wanda) Jackson of Columbus, NC; one daughter, Deborah Jackson of Landrum, SC. She has twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. She was the last survivor of her siblings. Services will be Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Columbus, NC, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Stinson Jackson's home, 3316 Collinsville Rd., Columbus, NC. Cannon and Sons Mortuary is in charge of services.
