WALKER, Elizabeth Vinson "Billie" Formerly of East Point, GA, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 at her home in Tiger, GA. She was born to Jessie Harris Vinson and Thomas E. Vinson on July 14, 1925, in Tignall, GA. She grew up in St. Petersburg where she graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1943. Billie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wm. E. (Bill) Walker, D.D.S.; her son Mark Walker of Clayton, GA; and her daughter & son-in-law, Judith and Richard Moore of Fayette County, GA. Survivors also include granddaughter Elizabeth Moore and her husband Leonard Presberg and their children Emma, Eli, and Isaac; granddaughter Jeannette Moore and her husband Michael Frei and their children Nicholas and Madeleine; and granddaughter Patricia Moore and her husband Bruce Jung and their son Jack. Billie and Bill have always been deeply involved in their church and their community when they lived in East Point and when they retired to Rabun County, GA. Billie was a loving wife and mother and her memory will be cherished by her family and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Clayton Baptist Church, 87 S. Church Street, Clayton, GA 30525. The family requests donations to the church in lieu of flowers. Beck Funeral Home, in Clayton, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
