JOHNSON Elizabeth Vars McCormick Johnson, 83, went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2004. She was a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and lived a greater part of her adult life in Onekama, Michigan, retiring in Orange Park, FL., where she became a devoted parishioner at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. She attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She was an active member of P.E.O. International Sisterhood; Elizabeth was a Florida Master Gardener and is also know for her creative dishes as a professional sous chef. She is remembered as a loving Mother, Devoted Grandmother and Friend. She leaves behind two sons; Gregory Parker Johnson, and Stephen Wade Johnson and wife Linda Johnson. Grandchildren, Stephanie, Skyler, and Parker. Three nephews; William, Richard and Gardener McCormick. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 11th, 2004, at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 6874 Old Church Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret's charity or building funds.
