Elizabeth V. Wilson, 78, of Lynette Drive, North Haven, died Feb. 4, 2008, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of Bobby D. Wilson. Born in Hamden, Feb. 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Ella J. McCarthy Williams. She was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. She had worked as a 911 dispatcher for the city of New Haven for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her sons, John D. (Sherry) Wilson, of Vicksburg, Miss., Michael D. Wilson, of North Haven, Thomas (Judy) Wilson, of East Hampton; a sister, Frances A. Packtor, of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Wilson; brothers, Raymond J., Harold L., and John J. Williams, and a sister, Eleanor E. Zambrano. Funeral services were held at the North Haven Funeral Home, Feb. 7, 2008. Interment with full military honors was held at the state Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
