MARYVILLE, Tenn.- Mrs. Elizabeth Stephens Smith, 78, wife of the late Carl L. Smith, Sr., entered into rest February 12, 2004 in Maryville, Tenn. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2004 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville, Tenn. with interment in Clarks Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was a native of Augusta, and resided in the Augusta area until 1960. She was the daughter of the late George and Erma Stephens. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma S. Bentley and Annie Mirian S. Hearn. Survivors include a son, C. Lowell Smith and his wife, Clara of Maryville, Tenn.; a sister, Lina S.
