ALTON, N.H. - Elizabeth (Woodward) Stafford, who leaves a sister in Chelmsford, died Friday, Jan. 3, at her home. She was 81.She was born in Arlington on July 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Alfred and Anne (Miller) Woodward.Mrs. Stafford had worked as a bank manager at the Auburndale Cooperative Bank for several years.She lived in Newton and Framingham before retiring to East Dennis.Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Turner of Alton and Nancy Simmonds of Auburn, N.Y.; a son, Rolland Stafford of Marlboro; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia W. Bates of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Dorothy Swafield of Chelmsford; and nieces and nephews.She was also the grandmother of the late Jeffrey Turner and sister of the late Alfred C. Woodward Jr..
