-> Mrs. Elizabeth S. Johnson, 74, died Friday, September 17, 2004 at Memorial Health University Medical Hospital. A native of Savannah, attended the public schools of Chatham County, and graduated from A. E. Beach High School. Mrs. Johnson was a loyal and faithful member of First Bryan Baptist Church, where she attended until her health started to fail and Green Grove Baptist Church, where she attended until her death. She was a dedicated Homemaker and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Johnson, Sr.; parents, Charles and Geneva Singleton; siblings, George, Earl and Charlesetta. Survivors: sons, Deacon Clifford (Glenda) Johnson, Jr. of Savannah and Rev. David (Regina) Johnson of Sterling, CO; brothers, Joseph (Lucile) Singleton and Herbert Singleton both of Savannah; sister, Eloise Huff of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sisters -in-law, Edith Hunter of Miami, FL and Mary McCloud of NC; brother-in-law, William (Delores) Brown of Miam i, FL; nine grandchildren, 17 great -grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
