Ruth Beal (nee Todd) of 553 Champlain Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of Edward "Ted" Beal and by first marriage the late Don Nevin. Dear mother of Nancy Beal, Hearst; and Brenda VanArkel (husband Gerard), Richmond Hill. Grandma to Peter and Eric. Daughter of the late James and Jean Todd (nee Sharp). Sister of Isabelle Williams (husband Gordon), Ottawa; and Murray Todd (wife Johanna), Griffin, Georgia. Predeceased by sister Margaret Britt (husband late Ken). Survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m. Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.
