COTTONDALE Elizabeth A. (Sissy) Rogers, age 38, of Cottondale, died April 25, 2006 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Ron Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Her brother, Randy Joe Simpson, and grandparents, Elizabeth Garner and Willy Garner, preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, Michael Rogers; daughter, Heather Akers; sister, Donna Crumley; brothers, Michael Simpson and Gary Simpson; mother, Mary Ann Bibby; and grandchild, Jeremy Scott Crews, Jr. (Little Boo).Mrs. Rogers was born in Tuscaloosa and lived in the Cottondale area for most of her life. She was a loving and caring wife and mother and a friend to everyone. She touched so many lives and she will be missed tremendously.Pallbearers will be Bobby Mohr, Junior Mohr, Brandon White, Paul Hathaway, Wallace McMillian, and Johnny Rogers.Honorary pallbearers are Hospice, DCH staff, Northport and Tuscaloosa Cancer Center, and best friend Lisa Day.
