Funeral for Elizabeth Posey Jones, 81, of Moulton will be Friday, April 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones, who died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Franklin County to Russell and Lona Hyde Wimberly. She was a Baptist. Her husband, Joe Jones, preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Melba Ashley and her husband, Waymon, Shirley Henson and Frances Stockberger and her husband, Michael; three brothers, J.P. Wimberly, Melvin Wimberly and Russell Wimberly; three sisters, Hazel Webb, Carrie Mears and Mary Eloise Helms; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
