POLLOCK Elizabeth Pollock, age 91, of Stratford, widow of Andrew Pollock passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Kurmya Czechoslovakia, to the late Joseph and Mary Pokrstenych Fida, Elizabeth moved to the United States over 70 years ago and an area resident for the past 50 years. Survivors include her daughter Elizabeth Larocque and her husband Bruce of Stratford, daughter in law Cheryl Pollock of Trumbull, three grandsons, Robert Slivinski and his wife, Julie of Woodbury, David and Michael Pollock of Trumbull; also a great-granddaughter, Bree Slivinski. Elizabeth was predeceased by her son, John and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl. Stratford and 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church with Father Marus celebrating a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Stratford.
