NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, entered into rest on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at her residence. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Terry A. Roof officiating. Mrs. Phillips was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. She was employed as an accountant with the Richmond County Health Department where she worked until her retirement. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, Martin Phillips and wife Julie of North Augusta, her daughter, Patricia Phillips Watson and husband Russell of Troy Illinois, four grandchildren, Cathy Watson Wilderman and husband Bruce, Russell (Rusty) Watson, Travis Phillips, and Amy Elizabeth Phillips, and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Watson, and Cayla Wilderman. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton Dawson Wheeler, and sisters, Josephine Wheeler, and Amelia Wheeler Green.
