PETERS - Elizabeth, born October 11, 1916 died peacefully at Central Haven on July 6, 2008 with family by her side. She was born, raised, and lived in the Aberdeen district her whole life until her stroke in 1994. She was active in the church and the community. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in October 1992. They enjoyed almost 56 years of marriage. She is survived by her children: Joan (Harold) Wiebe of Rosthern, SK; Kathy (Harvey) Klassen of Aberdeen, SK; Ron (Doris) Peters of Ste. Anne, MB; Helen (Erwin) Epp of Edmonton, AB; and Karin (Gene) Forshaw of Leamington, ON; 17 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 13 step great-grandchildren, one greatgreat-grandson and three step great-greatgrandchildren and predeceased by one infant great-grandson. She is survived by four siblings: Mary Fehr, Annie Peters, Agnes Driediger, and Bill "Wink " Thiessen and predeceased by seven siblings. Thanks to the staff at Central Haven Special Care Home for 10 years of compassionate care. There will be a visitation for family and friends at Dalmeny Funeral Home on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. The Celebration of Her Life will take place at Aberdeen Mennonite Church on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Aberdeen Mennonite Church Cemetery.
