ELIZABETH MORGAN SATELLITE BEACH Elizabeth Betty Welch Morgan passed away Saturday, January 21, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born in Massillon, Ohio on August 31, 1924. Betty was one of eleven children, nine sisters and one brother. She worked at Welchs Bakery in Massillon with her family prior to her marriage to Thomas J. Morgan. Upon Toms return from service as a highly decora ted officer in World War II, they married in 1944 at St. Marys Cathedral in Massillon. After liv ing in South Florida for many years, they retired to Satellite Beach, Florida where they were members of Holy Name of Je sus Catholic Church. A loving mother, grandmoth er, and great-grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her for her love, faith and kind ness. Betty was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Arthur and husband, Thomas James. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy David, Rosemary Berbari, Mary Louise Krempel, Katie Orzeck. Betty is survived by her nine children, Michael (Dianne), Thomas (Nadie), John (Lisa), Richard, Robert (Elizabeth) Patricia Fisher (Terry), Betty Williams (Steve), Mary Leroux (Jean Guy) and Joan Lasseter. She is also survived by her brother Jerry Welch and sisters Nancy Hammel, Patricia Wise, Suzie Berbari, Judy Mattingly, and Jeannie Hodgson, 20 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 24th, at Beach Funeral Home 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 11 am in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, India lantic with burial to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
