MILLER, Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (nee Jones)December 13, 1919 ~ November 3, 2014Peacefully, on November 3, 2014 Betty passed away at The Gerald Zetter Care Centre at the age of 94.Betty will be remembered by her daughters Marilyn (Larry) Chaney, Evelyn (Andy) Mayes, and Sylvia (Bob 2006) Lyon; sons Alden, and Jim (Catherine); grandchildren Kevin (Agnieszka), Abdul-Malik, Leylene, Bruce (Corenne), Stuart, Angela, Geneviève, Veronica, and Eric; great- grandchildren Kalina, Tosia, Emmett, Khadeejah, and Haleemah; nieces Linda and Leah; nephews Mark, Michael, and Stephen. Betty was predeceased by her husband Clive in 1990, and her siblings prior to that.Betty was born and raised in Edmonton and married Clive in 1944. She worked at WW Arcade, The Bay, and Electrical Industries. She was active in the Anglican Church at St. Peter's, St. Luke's and Christ Church. Betty lived for her family and enjoyed big family gatherings especially playing games. She was kind and generous and always there to help others.A private Interment will take place. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on November 7, 2014 at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes, 10179 108 Street, with a reception to follow.In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.The family would like to thank the staff at Kiwanis Place and The Gerald Zetter Care Centre for their loving care.Our hearts are heavy, but it was her time to go.
