Groton - Elizabeth Mary (Lenzzo) Fink, 77, of Groton, beloved wife of the late Robert L. Fink, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.Born in New London, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Havens) Lenzzo. Elizabeth was a graduate of Stonington High School and worked at General Dynamics before starting her family. In addition to being a homemaker, Elizabeth enjoyed writing poetry, was an avid gardener, a talented interior decorator, and volunteer for the Alliance for Living. Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Robert, and a sister, Dolores.She is survived by her four children, Nancy Gonzalez of Norwich, Pamela Anne Knight of Montville, Richard Hauser Jr. and his wife, Paige, of Oklahoma, and Jennifer Fink of Groton; her sister, Frances Meyer of Los Angeles, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her faithful feline companion, Angel.A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at St. Patrick Church, 32 East Main St., Mystic. Burial will be private, and there are no calling hours.
