MALONE, ELIZABETH, 81, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009. She was a long time member of Greater Friendship Baptist Church and a retired employee of Spalding University. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Robert W. Malone; children, Birdie E. Malone, Rev. Dr. Robert L. Malone (Melveen), and Rev. James A. Malone (Pamela); grandchildren, Tammie Malone Vinson (Abrea), Angelique Malone Page (Jerry), Tijuana Malone Pearson (John), Taris Malone (Monica), Seneca Malone, Nicole Jackson (Charles), Montez Malone and Natalie Malone; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Malone (Leonard) and Lucile Owens of Nashville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church, 2325 Osage Ave. Burial: Louisville Cemetery. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St., is handling the arrangements.
