BOWES, Elizabeth (nee Maclean) April 14, 1924 - August 1, 2009 Elizabeth Maclean Bowes passed away peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital at the age of 85, with her loving children at her side. Wife of Roy Bowes. Elizabeth (Beth) will be missed by her devoted children Elizabeth Bowes (Wilfred Geneau), Carolyn Bowes (Peter Knox), Roy Bowes (Nancy), Diana Kennaway (Jeff), and Tom Bowes (Ruth). She was predeceased by her grandson Christopher Kennaway. Loving Gran to Trevor, Christopher, James, Daniel, Julie, Katie, Margaret, Erica, and Alannah. Sister to John Reginald Maclean (Ruth) of Elora, Ontario. Elizabeth was born in Montreal and was a commercial artist for T.E. Eaton Co. and did freelance work while raising her family. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main Street S., Maxville (613) 527-2898 on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will follow in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment, Mount Royal Cemetery.
