->BANGOR - Elizabeth M. Gould, 36, beloved mother, daughter and friend, died unexpectedly June 30, 2013. "Beth," as she was known, was born June 23, 1977, in Bangor, daughter of David F. and Sandra L. (Cunningham) Gould.Beth graduated from Bangor High School in 1995 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Husson University. Beth wore many hats. She worked for many years at Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems as an education specialist, working with providers, nurses and other staff to improve patient care. She also enjoyed caring for patients as a nurse on Grant 6 East. Most recently, Beth shared her knowledge and love of nursing as an adjunct-nursing instructor with Husson University. Beth's greatest joys and accomplishments were raising her two girls. She spent many hours watching her daughters' sporting events throughout the school year. She was so proud of the beautiful, young women they were growing up to be. Beth treasured her mother and was thankful of their loving, supportive relationship, especially throughout the past few years.Surviving are her two daughters, whom she dearly loved, Megan and Madison Miller; and mother, Sandra Gould, all of Bangor. She will also be missed by her closest friends, Tracy Madrid of Bangor, Michele Hale of Kenduskeag, Greta Dube and Lorraine Lockhart, both of Winterport; and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, David F. Gould. Beth was adored and will be missed by all who knew her.A celebration of Beth's life will be held 2-4 p.m. Monday, July 8, with a brief service to be held 3 p.m. at Mason Auditorium, second floor of Eastern Maine Medical Center - near main entrance, Bangor, where family and friends may visit. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Beth M. Gould Memorial Fund, care of EMMC Federal Credit Union, 417 State St., Bangor, ME 04401, to benefit her daughters. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
