LEE _ (nee Mah). Elizabeth "Betty" Begg Qwan. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Saturday, March 8th, 2003 at Burnaby General Hospital. The third of seven children, Mom was born on August 21, 1933 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She spent most of her life in Vancouver, devoting herself to successfully raising five children. She will be fondly remembered for her unique creative flair, generous heart, boundless energy and tenacious spirit. She is survived by Ronald Duane (Devy), Janice Amanda (David), Denise Kelly (Andrew), Michael Darren (Maureen) and Jennifer Elizabeth (Patrick); eight beautiful grandchildren and, numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her more than words can express. The family would like to acknowledge the doctors and nurses in the Cardiac Care Unit of Burnaby General Hospital, for their dedication in caring for Elizabeth. A memorial celebration will be held in the reception room at Ocean View Memorial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, on Wednesday, March 12th at 2:30 pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. "Everlasting peace in your new life, Mom. We love you."
