MOGRIDGE, Elizabeth Lee October 2, 1923– March 18, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Elizabeth Lee Mogridge, on Sunday, March 18, 2012 in Calgary. Beth was born on October 2, 1923 in Calgary and was raised in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. Beth married her high school sweetheart William Mogridge on Sept. 16, 1943 and they were together for over 67 years until Bill passed away in December 2010. Bill and Beth raised their family Robert (Donna), Margaret (Herb), Frank (Laurette) and Laurie (Gareth) in Medicine Hat for many years, before they moved to Calgary. Beth worked at a major Law firm for many years where she was respected and loved by all with whom she came into contact. Throughout Beth’s life her caring and truly compassionate personality endeared her to many. Beth leaves behind five grandchildren, nine great – grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Wentworth Manor for their many years of caring and friendship and in particular her companion Angela from Home Instead: Senior’s Care.
