Elizabeth June Timmins lifelong resident of Lowell LOWELL Miss Elizabeth June Timmins a life long resident of Lowell, MA died late Sunday night, February 10, 2008 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell, MA. Born in Lowell, MA on June 18, 1928, the daughter of the late Robert P. and Marion (Champlin) Timmins. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1946, and received an Associates Degree from Lowell Commercial College. She was employed over the years with Meyers Thread Mill Co., a Sunday School Teacher, and with the Lowell Sun in the Classified Dept. until her retirement in 1990. She was an active member of the Highland Methodist Church of Lowell and St. Paul Methodist Church of Lowell where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the Women's Society, as well as a member of the church choir. Miss Timmins was an avid photographer and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Marion and John King of Lowell, two nieces and their husbands, Karen and Russell Whitney of Hillsborough, NH, Kyle and Donald Green of Hudson, NH, four grand-nephews, Leo Cormier, Nathan Whitney, Christopher Green and Daniel and his daughter Kristal Green, two grand-nieces, Crystal Cormier and Donna Marie and her daughters, Elizabeth and Natalie Carter, as well as several close family friends. TIMMINS of Lowell, Elizabeth J., died Feb. 10, 2008. No Visiting hours. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
